Coinage
I can now stop the obsessive change checking that has dominated the metal money related part of my life for the last couple of months. The circle/shield is now complete and I can spend coins without care of what is depicted upon their rapidly dulling surfaces. That is, of course, unless there is actually a two pound coin as part of this new collection and by telling me that there wasn’t Paul was either trying to beat me to finishing the set or telling fibs to save my easily distracted brain from months of disappointed rooting through handfuls of coinage…
I may have to start searching through my change again, just in case.
(The internet doth provide – there are two pound coins, three of them and an extra 50p, but they seem to be part of special sets. I am safe. For now.)
